Years ago when we were all kinda blogging and all that I came across BAMF Style. Right up my ally, I was already a fan of clothes and fashion, and here was a blog about clothes and fashion in all our favourite films. Instant fan. I then discovered that Nick, the authour is this 23 year old college guy.Well, turns out the guy’s a prodigy…He’s spot on. And he’s my hero. He has been bringing us great post after great post for over 10 years, and that is just amazing. I know that during that time he has married, and ignored many of my post requests. No worries, I’m always requesting old school stuff…I get it. All kidding aside, this is a great site with loads of info by a guy who won’t quit on something he loves. And he has inspired me to be more active and start writing again. Thank you Nick.

In 11 novels and 9 short stories, Bond travels five times through 1950’s France. While Bond is now famous for being a great globe-trotting spy, it is surprising that Fleming, an author so fond of Jamaica and other exotic places, would send his spy just as many times to the other side of the Channel.

It’s one of the most obscure mysteries in Bondology. In July 1965 a “magazine for men” named Saga published what it offensively called “Ian Fleming’s Last Interview: How to Take Any Woman…James Bond Style!” The note from the editor read:
In the summer of 1964, French journalist Alain Ayache interviewed Ian Fleming, the creator of James Bond. Fleming agreed to sit for another interview at a later date in Switzerland. But Fleming died in September [sic], 1964. Ayache went over his notes carefully and decided to release them unedited, in Ian Fleming’s own words.
